Was the R2,000 Maintenance Already Paid?
1. Sibusiso, you appear to have overlooked that you specifically agreed to pay the electricity contribution into the family account the following day, being the 4th. You incorrectly referred to that payment as maintenance.
2. Naledi, you do not appear to have made clear that you expected Sibusiso to pay a total of R4,000. He could not reasonably have known what you meant.
Order
3. Each party is liable to pay R1,000 towards the R2,000 shortfall.
