The Separation Payment
1. Having heard both parties, the Court takes into account the verbal agreement made by Nina Calder and Evan Calder after their marriage.
2. The text messages sent by Evan Calder to Nina Calder have not been verified by Nina Calder’s side. Accordingly, the Court limits the repayment to the paycheck Evan Calder promised Nina Calder when they made their transfer. If that paycheck does not cover the full amount of 600, the Court cannot order payment of the difference.
Order
3. Evan Calder shall turn over only the paycheck he received after the rent transfer.
