The Last Shared Rent Payment
1. Having heard the parties, I find that the defendant owes the plaintiff £600 in rent. The first £600 paid by the defendant was for an electricity bill, not rent. Both parties recall the conversation. The defendant sent money, but the plaintiff had to ask for further money for the rent, which the defendant did not provide.
Order
2. The defendant shall pay the plaintiff £600.
